What's up

Here is what has been happening to us the past few months.

Caleb's 4th Birthday was in February.  He got a marble toy.

Bryan's 8th Birthday was in February.  Now he gets to go to cub scouts.  He was so excited and just loves it.

Bryan was Baptized on March 3rd.  It was a very special day.

Our family is growing up to fast.  We appreciate all the support from our families on this special day.

I came home from a R.S. activity one Saturday to find that we now own chickens!  We have talked about it for 5 years, and now I guess Shilo will have to build a chicken coop.  They grow too fast and already flying out of this container.

 

 

 

You all have heard our news about our new baby GIRL!!!  I'm having fun finally being able to buy pink and cutesie things!!!  Now we just have to wait 4 months to hold her.

Bingham Baby #5

Today we had our first ultrasound.  Shilo and I were so excited.  I am 14 weeks along and I am due Aug.6th.  It was neat to see the baby, because then it makes it all seem real.  I am over the morning sickness/ complete lack of energy stage.  I can hardly wait to hold that baby.  Nine months is too long!

New Bathroom

For Christmas, Shilo gave me a new bathroom.  This is what our old bathroom looked like.  It didn't have a shower.  The vanity had water damage and the front could be pulled off.  The floor's tile had water get underneath it, and caused the grout and tile to break. You can't see it in this picture but the cabinets by the tub were ...different. 

Demolition.  This is the bathroom completely gutted.  We had to take out everything and even put in new plywood on the floor and new plumbing. We even put in a new door coming into the bathroom. Shilo put in new drywall. He even had to do work on the electrical and move the lights and install new plugins.

We got a tub and shower and moved it to the right side of the room.  This is when they did the texture to the drywall.

The new tub and shower.  We still have a few minor things to do, but it is now functional!  We want to put a linen closet in that little nook in the corner,behind the wall from the tub.

It took a lot of time and a lot of work.  Shilo worked on it the whole Christmas break, and every night after work for 3 weeks.  It was really hard to only have one bathroom.  The boys would wake up Gavin all the time, because they had to use the bathroom downstairs. We had to bathe our kids at Kurt and Jalene's and then convince them to come home. One day we didn't have water for almost 24 hours.  Let's just say I was not a happy camper!!!!  But now that the stress of it is all over, I just love it!  It is so exciting to see the transformation.  Shilo did a wonderful job, and a lot of it was a first time experience.  Thank you Shilo!

Christmas Eve we played the game Rachael made us for Christmas.  You can't see in the picture, but each of our faces are on the little missionary game pieces.

 Christmas Morning!  We woke our kids up at 6:30 so we could open presents before Church.

Bryan and Blake got Transformers and the original Transformers Cartoons. (Blake doesn't like the flash of a Camera.)

Caleb got a Caterpillar, and they all go the KungZhu Hamster's battle armor and training sets.

Gavin got a dump truck and a V Tech  Nursery Rhyme book and the movie Toy Story 3.

 Every year we act out the Nativity.

In Loving Memory

Last month Shilo and I both lost our Grandmas.  The only two days that it snowed in November where the days that we had funerals.  We loved our Grandmas and they both lived examples of Christ-like lives.

My Grandma Beth Tietjen passed away Oct. 28, 2011.  I loved to hear my Grandma sing and she would play games with us.  I got to grow up right next door to them, so I have many precious memories. But now she gets to be with Grandpa in Heaven.  Grandma had dementia/ Alzheimers for about 3 years.

The Tietjen Sisters!  This is at Grandma Tietjen's funeral. 

 Shilo's Grandma LaVerda Bingham passed away Nov. 26, 2011 at the age of 95.  We loved visiting them because we lived so close.  She would let us pick apples and would always give the boys cookies and play with her farm toys.

Rachael took this picture at the funeral.  It is most of all of Shilo's cousins and their families.  Grandpa is in the middle.  What a posterity!

It has been an humbling experience to lose loved ones.  We are just grateful for the gospel and the plan of salvation.  We know that Families are Forever!

Blake's 6th Birthday!

 Thanksgiving 2011

We ate at the church and had so much fun.  We also played at the Ammon school.  It was a nice day outside and the kids loved it.

 We had fun playing with balls in the gym, going on a treasure hunt, preforming songs, and playing games.  We wore the kids out!

Florida Vacation!

Shilo and I went to Florida for our ten year anniversary and had such a blast.  We really missed our kids though, and were happy to come home.  I just didn't realize how cold it is in Idaho compared to Florida!

Gavin and Caleb stayed with Nana and Bapa.  The hardest part was seeing them drive away. 

Bryan and Blake stayed the week with Grandma and Grandpa Bingham.  Bryan was quite sad that we were leaving.

We got to spend a day with Kolby and Rachael in Disney World.  Here is in front of Magic Kingdom.  We had such a fun time together.

It was fun to have time together.

Later that day we went to Epcot.

I love this picture.  My favorite part of Epcot was seeing the different countries.

The next day we went to Sea World.  Shilo got to feed the dolphins.

That night we went to the Orlando Temple.  There were only 4 people in the session and we were the witness couple.

The next day we went to Saint Augustine, the oldest city in the U.S.  This fort is 450 years old!

We also stopped by the Atlantic Ocean!

We stayed the night with the Sopalski Family. These are her grand kids.

The next day we went to a Civil War Fort Clinche. 

It is also by the Atlantic Ocean.  We found seashells for the boys.

We spent the day and stayed the night with the Derks family.  It was fun to get to know the people Shilo taught on his mission.

GLAD TO BE HOME AND TO BE A FAMILY AGAIN!

It was a fun trip.  I don't fly on airplanes very well.  We couldn't have done it if it weren't for our wonderful parents who took such good care of our boys.  We really appreciate their help.  If we go back we want to take our kids with us, because we missed them so much.
