4th of July and Summer

We spent the night in our new tent in my parent's backyard.

Lighting fireworks.  Too bad for Addison who got burned by the sparkler.

Riding the Ferris Wheel at Tautphaus Park Fun Land.  Confession: I was scared when we started going up, because I don't like heights!

Bryan, Addison, Blake and Caleb on the rides.

I like this picture of the boys and their matching shirts.  My mom bought shirts for everyone to wear.  I haven't gotten the group picture from Brookie yet.

My dad and his new grill.  The food was DELICIOUS! The kids liked playing in the water at my parent's home.
The Fourth was a lot of fun.  We missed Kim and Trent and their girls.  Next year we are going to Wyoming for our family reunion.  We are so excited.
Happy Birthday Shilo!  You are a wonderful DAD!  He got  dutch oven tools, a dutch oven cookbook, and the movie Narnia 3.

PEAS!  We have picked about 30 cups of peas this year.  We were really excited!  We hope everything in the garden does this well.

Pumpkins and corn, potatoes, peppers, and raspberries.
Peas and broccoli, strawberries, onions, and zucchini!

I know this is silly, but here is my new wheat grinder.  I saved up my babysitting money so that I could have it.  I'm excited!  Now all I need is my $400 Bosch Mixer and I'm set!

Party with the Binghams

We had a 4th of July party/ birthday party for Gabriel at our house.  We spent all week working on the yard and gardens to make everything look nice.  Shilo's family were good sports while we experimented with our dutch-oven cooking.

Shilo was the cook.  We made bb-q beef sandwiches, cheesy potatoes, and Strawberry Cobbler.  Yummy!  We ate an hour later than we planned because we are new at this and I had a horse fiasco. ( I accidentally let the neighbors horses out when I was collecting eggs while my friend was gone.  The horses ran all over the church's grass then down the street.  Luckily we have some other great neighbors with horse experience and family that helped us get them back in.  It only put our preparations a half an hour behind for the party!)

Finally we get to eat!

Jared and Amber, with Great Grandma and Grandpa Bingham.

The kids had fun being together.

I love this picture of Bryan and I didn't even take it, Blake did.

Happy Birthday Gabriel.  JaLene made cupcakes with flags on them.

We had a pool and a water slide for the kids to cool off.

Kara and Cutie baby Whitney!

Here is a video of the kids playing in the water.  I wanted to show Kolby, Rachael, and MaKenzie.
It was a really fun day being together.  It was hot, but that is better than cold!

Summer Time Blast!

Now that Summer has begun, we are having a blast.  We love our trampoline from Kim and Trent!  Thank you.
We also have a new/used sandbox that we finally put sand in.  Gavin just loves to dump out all of the sand.

We went to the Zoo with my mom and a had so much fun.  At every exhibit Caleb would say "Can I go in there? I want to go in there!"

The boys loved seeing the animals and having fun with Nana.
At our church they had a primary pioneer activity.  The boys wanted to dress up.

Happy Father's Day!  Here we are with Kurt.

We had a BBQ on father's day with my Mom and Dad.  It was cold and windy, so we ate inside the porch.

BB-Q with mom and dad.

We are busy with our garden's again.  Things have really grown since these pictures.  These are tomatoes and a little bit of Strawberries.

Here we planted corn, potatoes, strawberries, raspberries, peppers, garlic, and pumpkin.

Here are more strawberries, raspberries, peas, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini.  Can I just say I HATE WEEDS!

We love playing in the water on the tramp.  I bought them goggles for swimming lessons in two weeks.
Gavin now can go to Nursery!  He goes with Caleb and Shilo takes him and he loves it!
Well, that is what we have been up to.  It has been lots of fun to play outside.  The boys just love it.
