Harvest for the Binghams

I took pictures by the pumpkins from our garden and corn stalks. These were taken in September.

Leaves are falling all around. (And it is only the beginning of a lot of raking at our house!)

The boys love jumping in the leaves. Today Blake and Caleb decided to decorate my front porch with leaves. It was so cute so I took pictures.

I love the changing of the seasons! Fall is so much fun. Especially because it means that fun holidays are on its way!! and a NEw BABY!!

My Baby is in KINDERGARTEN!

Bryan's First Day of Kindergarten. He was so excited! On Mondays they have earlier class, and they get out at 1:30, but most days he will go 12:00-3:00p.m. We are outside waiting for the bus.

Here is the Bus!!! It came a little sooner than we were expecting. But Bryan just hoped right in and smiled and waved as they drove away to pick up his friend Mason down the street.

This picture tells it all. Blake was very sad, because he wanted to go with Bryan. He also wanted a picture with Bryan by the road, but the bus came too soon. So I told him that I would take a picture of just him. He just wasn't happy. But he got over it quickly. Now, all day He wants me to entertain and play with him. Or he will come up and just talk to me about anything. I think He really misses his brother.

Garden Update

Here is our garden. I have currently been canning green beans, and freezing broccoli. I've got a lot of tomatoes, that I want to make into sauce. We are going to dig up our potatoes soon, and we have even gotten 4 little raspberries.
Here is the last of our goat shed, that Shilo has torn down. We are going to plant our Orchard here next year, and with the wood Shilo is going to make our chicken coop. He just bought a miter saw, so he is excited for some projects.

Here is Shilo's pride and joy, his corn. It is our first successful attempt at raising corn. The highest is in the middle, and we are guessing it is about seven feet tall.

THis is our first year of pumpkins, and we didn't realize that one plant takes up alot of room and has quite a few pumpkins. So Shilo planted 5 plants. Three are orange, and the other two are white.

Here is our biggest pumpkin. It is now turning more orange. This is the one we'll be carving for Halloween!!!

Our New ADDITION!!!!!

A DOG!!!!
Yes, we have a dog. Her name is Molly. She was free and she already has her shots and is spayed. (This is the only reason I gave my consent!) She also came with a dog kennel and a walking leash. We got her from Shilo's boss. His brother was killed in a motorcycle accident and so Molly needed a home.
I guess we can't have a baby girl, so we'll get a Dog! I once asked Bryan if he wanted a baby sister and his reply was "First a dog, then a sister!" Shilo says we should of got the dog a long time ago then!!!!

(sorry, i don't know how to turn this picture around, I guess I should of done it before I added it to the blog.)

Here is Bryan with Molly. He is the least scared of her. She is still kind of a pup, so she jumps up alot and it scares Blake a little, and Caleb alot!

I think the people the most excited is first Shilo, then Bryan. He loves to take her on walks and plays with her. I guess every boy should have a dog, and we've got 4 (almost 5) in our family.

New Swing Set

"My Three Sons".
Caleb, Bryan and Blake love their new swing set. We got it from Rhett and Allysse, who just bought a new house and it had a swing set, but they already had one of their own. So they gave us this one. It needs new swings, but my boys love the slide the best.

Bryan is a Monkey.

Here is where we (with alot of Trent's help), took out the chain-link fence on the east side of the house and moved it to connect to the cow pasture. Now it is just one big yard on the side. This is where the swing set is.

Here you can see where the swing set is by the side yard of the house.

Grandpa Tietjen's Funeral

These are pictures of my Grandpa and his life. He died on July 3, 2009 and his funera was July 10, 2009 in Ammon, Idaho.
Here we are at the Ammon Cemmetary.

Uncle Ron, Aunt Kathy, Grandma Tietjen, Aunt Relda, Uncle Bill, and Dad.

The luncheon at the church. (Shilo, Aaron, Brookie and Addison, Mom, Caleb, Blake and Bryan.)

Here is Shilo and I with Grandma Tietjen.

Our Family Picture with Grandpa's flowers and painting.

I will miss my Grandpa Tietjen very much. He was a very kind person. I am glad that I got to grow up living next to him. My favorite story was when I went to ask him for glue for a school project. But He couldn't hear me very well. When he finally understood what I wanted, he said "Yah, I got glue." And he brought me wood glue.
My favorite saying of grandpa's was his Indian word "Yah-ta-Hey"(not sure on spelling.) I remember going over and eating Indian Fry bread that he made and hearing his stories.
Love YOU Grandpa!

Tietjen Family Reunion

Our Tietjen Family Reunion at our house was from July 3-4th. It started to rain so we had our dinner in the Garage (not the shop mom!). Here is all the kids eating. (Bryan, Tietjen, Kiri?, Blake, and Kristie). Below is the rest of us eating.

The "Bruce" boys! Here is my Dad with Caleb.

We had a pie making contest. Everyone made a different pie to share. It was delicious.

Caleb on the 4th of July.

We lit our fireworks the night of the 3rd of July. Trent and Kim bought some in Wyoming and put on a good show.

Blake didn't like the Noise!!!!

It was a long fun filled day, and this is how Blake fell asleep sitting up against our bed. He was so tired that he fell asleep during scripture and prayer.

On the 4th of July Bryan and Blake helped Shilo and I, do a flag ceremony to celebrate our country's birthday.

We made wood boats and floated them down the canal for a race. The kids loved it and of course The BINGHAM'S WON!!!!

(so there Jeff! just kidding)
