Getting Bigger!!!

My boys just keep growing up  and getting bigger.  Here are some of our new happenings.

Bryan wanted to start helping with mowing the lawn! ( I know why I have boys, now!)  I just love the help.

Blake learned to ride his bike with out training wheels.  He came to me and asked if I would help him learn.  He learned in one evening.

I took the boys fishing at Free Fishing Day at Jensen's Grove.  Lets just say it was an interesting experience being by myself with 4 boys, fishing poles, and hooks!

Blake lost his first official tooth.  As you can tell he was thrilled with the experience of me pulling it. (It was super loose and actually came out really easy.)

Gavin now sleeps in a toddler bed.  He took to it in one night.  We are going to eventually move him up stairs with Bryan.

Yes, I'm getting bigger too.  We are just waiting for baby.  Only 1 1/2 weeks left.
Happy 24th of July!  We had a Ward Party Celebration.  The Relief Society was in charge.  (Isn't it nice that I was just released!)

Well, That is the update for the Bingham Family.  The next one will be all about the BABY!!!!!!!!!!

Bear Lake Camping Trip

This year to celebrate the 4th we wanted to go camping at our favorite place: Bear Lake!
This is the third year in row that we have camped in this spot.

Cool Kids!  They loved going down to this creek.  We even had a deer roaming in the camp.

We wanted to go on a hike, so we drove down to this trail.  It turned out to being a short walk to a pond, that you can see from the road.  The most adventurous part: not stepping on cow pies!
Roasting Marshmallows.
The next day we packed up and drove down to North Beach.
The boys had so much fun in the water, especially with the alligator they named "George!"  Uncle Jeff would pull them and give rides on it.
Gavin learned to love the water and sand. He was good friends with Aiden.

My parents and Jeff and Mickie wanted to join us for the fun at the Beach.  We had such a fun day.
Jeff, Aiden, and Tietjen.

Everyone had so much fun, especially the kids playing with their cousins.  It was a nice hot day, and the water wasn't too high so we had a good beach.  We packed up around 4 and went and got icecream in Soda Springs.  That night we bought and shot off fireworks.  We could also see the Jensen's Grove fireworks from our house, and I could see, really small, the ones from Pocatello.
Yes I am tent camping at 35 weeks pregnant.  My sister Mickie kept saying I was crazy or amazing!  This was our last family summer adventure.  The rest of July will be getting ready for the BABY!

June was so BUSY!

June went by so fast for us.  We did a lot of fun things.  Here is some of the highlights!

Our trip to Utah, June 8-9.  The boys got to have a sleep over at Brookie's.  She spoiled them rotten and they loved it. (The call her the "Favorite Aunt").

Then we went to Thanks Giving Point and to the Dinosaur Museum.  We went 5 years ago with just Bryan and Blake.  It was fun to go back now that the boys are older.

Shilo and I at the Museum.

The kids love playing in the sand and water, and digging for bones.  This is Caleb, with Addison and Landon.

My Grandma Johnson's birthday/ Cooley Reunion at the Park.

This month we did swim lessons for two weeks at the Blackfoot Pool.  The boys learned alot this year and less afraid of the water.

Bryan and Blake were in the same group.  Blake likes to back floats, and Bryan likes the front strokes.
Blake loved the diving board in the deep end.

Caleb loved it All!  He liked the slide and the diving board.  He just doesn't like to put his face in the water.
 Father's Day!
The boys got Shilo a Bottle Rocket Launcher!  We have a lot of fun with it.
 Cub Scout Day Camp!
I got to go half a day to Bryan's  Day Camp.  He just loved it.  He got to shoot a BB-gun, Archery, rope a metal cow, etc.  He even bought a pocket knife.

My baby girl shower in Idaho Falls.  My Tietjen relatives came, and some of my friends from High School.  I kick myself for not getting a picture with them.  I having another shower with the Bingham relatives, and ward friends in July.  I love getting cute pink things.!!!
June 29th and 30th we went camping with Weston and Kara at Island Park.  We had a fun time. Kurt and JaLene came up and had lunch with us.  Both of my batteries on my camera were dead so I have to get some copies of pictures that Kara took.

It has been a busy month, but we've enjoyed every moment of it.

Class of 2024!

Blake's Kindergarten Graduation was today.

Congratulations Blake!

They had a cute program where they told what each kid wants to be when they grew up, sang songs, and got their diploma and awards.
Nana with Gavin, Blake, Grandpa and Grandma Bingham with Caleb.  Shilo got to go to the program and then went back to work.
Afterwards in their class, we watched a slideshow of the kids throughout the year, and they made a copy for each of us to take home.  Gavin wanted to sit by Blake and gave him a hug.
It was a really cute program, and I can hardly believe the year is over.

Adventure Day was last week and I got to go and help for part of the day.  The kids got to ride a horse, go on a hayride, milk a cow and make butter, look for bugs, play games outside, etc.

Here is Keaton and Blake flying kites.

Here they are grinding wheat for their pancakes.

Here they are shooting bottle rockets.

It was a cold day, but the kids had lots of fun.

Memorial Fun

What I love about having all boys.... They are highly entertained by ROCKS!
For Memorial Day we took them to Craters of the Moon.  They just loved it.  They kept running from one spot to the other.  Shilo and I had a hard time keeping up!  Even Gavin would say, "Ooh Look at the Rocks" or "Did you see that," pointing to big holes in the rocks.  I'm glad they really liked going.

Shilo and Gavin

Caleb, Bryan, and Me. (I truly got wore out by the end)

The boys were the most excited about.... the CAVES!
They had so much fun climbing the rocks.  Blake and Bryan would be a little too adventurist, and go way before we could with Caleb and Gavin.  They just wanted to see it all.

This is the only cave Gavin and I went down, because the others were too hard to climb down into, and you had to hold Gavin the whole time.  He did not like being left behind, and I got to hear all about it.
Caleb climbing a tree we told him not too.  (But I had to take a picture because he was so cute).
Just to illustrate a point about Caleb's personality.  We kept telling the boys to stay on the path, like the sign said (that way we could also keep track of them.)  So, Caleb walked with one foot on the trail like he was supposed too, and one foot off the trail to show what HE wanted to do!
We had a very fun trip.  The boys wanted to keep going to climb the big hill, but I was wore out and wanted to go home.

We also visited graves on Sat and Sun.  This is Shilo's Grandma Bingham

Shilo's Grandpa Hunsaker

My Grandma and Grandpa Tietjen.  It was so rainy we could only hop out, take a picture and hop back in.
After 5 years, we FINALLY have a ridding lawn mower!  We are so excited.  We have never bought anything this nice and brand new before.  At first I felt like it was so nice, we shouldn't use it or touch it.  We still have to use our push mower to get everywhere the ridding mower cant get.  But Shilo mowed the big section of our lawn in 30 min, and it use to take us an hour!

Love the Heat

We can't wait for school to be out for the SUMMER!

Caleb begged, and begged me to get the pool out, until I finally gave in.  He wants to live in his swim suit.  I can already picture summer: boys in and out of the house, constantly taking out my towels, wet grass all over the carpet, and wet clothes everywhere!

Gavin is constantly taking off his clothes.

This is part of our garden this year.  Shilo wanted to try a new method called "square foot gardening".   It requires expensive soil for the first  year, but there is no weeds, less water, and more food planted per square foot.  It is an experiment, and we are having fun.  We have more things planted now than what is in the picture.

Happy Mother's day.  I got the second book of the BEYONDERS and some flowers.  The boys made me cards at school.  My favorite is a conversation I had with Blake.  Bryan gathered some things in his room to give me.  Blake cries and complains, "I want to give you something too, but I want to keep all of my stuff."  He is a funny boy that is hard to please.
Waiting for church on Mother's Day.

Kim wanted me to post a picture of how big I am getting.  This is a couple of weeks ago.  I was 6 months along.  Now I only have 12 weeks left.  Getting excited.
There was this quote in our Relief Society Newsletter:

"Before I got married I had six theories about bringing up children; Now I have six children, and no theories!"
